There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients feel meaningful relief within a few months; others choose longer-term work. We'll regularly check in on your goals and progress so therapy stays meaningful and right-sized for your life.
A diabetes educator focuses on the medical management of diabetes — insulin, diet, devices. As a therapist, I focus on the emotional and mental load of living with the condition: distress, anxiety, depression, burnout, identity, and relationships. The two roles work beautifully together.
Yes — research consistently shows telehealth therapy is as effective as in-person care for most concerns. Many clients actually prefer the comfort, privacy, and convenience of meeting from home.
